I'm not sad they're gone. If they can't exist alongside those of us that don't agree with their set of beliefs, then it's best that they move on. People like this usually want admin to punish everyone that they disagree with as they preach from what they believe to be their morally superior hill. Note that they wanted something done about it: punishment.
The fact that they're retreating to BGG, where the admin regularly deletes posts and bans people that dare to speak any opinion that does not conform with the radical left movement is a pretty good hint that this is the case.

One of the things I love about Ye Olde Inn is the community. Agree or disagree, we generally say our piece and then move forward together. Every once in a while I see someone rage quit the forums because their woke ideas are challenged by our members. Well, snowflakes melt when it's hot.

I agree with that. Can't force somebody to stay and if they are unhappy, better to leave and be happier somewhere else than try to demolish the community I say.

Reminds me of video games. When I was playing on someone's server and didn't like how it was run, I went and made my own. When people didn't like my server, I invited them to try one of the others that did things differently.

Anyway, I think HispaZargon really did a great job, as did the original translators, and now the entire community can freely enjoy the Japanese quests, even if you don't use bastianbux's particular interpretation.

I don't want to go off topic, what I meant was: I've seen too many forums being deprived of active members because they left or being banned for internal conflicts.

Been a mega Heroquest Fanatic since it first appeared on shelves at Toys-R-Us, its 5 year journey ended 31 years ago.
It only exist today because of die hard fans around the world keeping the game going: New custom quests, custom artifacts, custom equipment,
custom monsters, etc. No 2 people are alike, so there are many, many different versions of the game out there.

Personally, I expanded the game thru all of its sibling games, Advanced Heroquest, Mighty Warriors, Warhammer Quest, Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay.
So my game has a lot of different Monsters pulled from all these related games, it has the random dungeon from Advanced Heroquest, and a converted XP system
from Warhammer Quest. But at the same time, still uses the exact same stats, and rules.

This particular web site has been a central point for everyone and I always find something new and interesting. New Quests, New Spells.
Some things I may use exactly as I find them, others I might just say "ooh cool idea" but then modify it how I think it best fits my game.
We may not all agree with how any particular person has modified their game, but we are all here for the same reason, to keep it alive.

Anyway, blah blah, blah Long story, haha
Short Story, I always look forward to everyone's contributions. Even if I dont use something I still like to see
what other peoples imagination has come up with.
