Good question. My Heroes are finding too easy, but I am realising it is because they already had some experience. They weren't veterans by any means, but this is meant for four completely new Heroes. I didn't think it would make that much difference, but it does. My four chaps have 7, 4, 1 and 1 quests behind them. I also realised that it didn't fit into my storyline at all. my four Heroes were up in Ostland, and this is all occurring in the Border Princes/Badlands. So, this is scrapped and it's on to Plan B.
The next of my brother's Heroes that is up for questing after we finish with His Barbarian and his men, is the Elf (Eagle). Eagle's last quest was 'Mage in the Mirror' and it was our closest finish yet. Eagle survived with 2BP's and 1 healing potion remaining, while his whole team (Female Elf, Barbarian, Dwarf, Elf and Wizard), along with all 15 henchmen were wiped out. This however means I need a whole new crew for him. It is going to be from one of the D&D base sets: Regdar the warrior, Carn the rogue, Dothal the Dwarf Cleric and Lanin the Elf Sorceress. This will therefore be the ideal opportunity for these four to play this quest and then meat up with Eagle, who in the meantime will be drowning his sorrows on a world cruise, along with his cousin, a Wardancer, in The High Elves' encounter pack. This quest conveniently ends on the coast at the border of the badlands, where he can meet the others and then go and do the Karag Eight peaks quest together.
I have some serious quest playtesting to do!
