Yeah there is- turns.

They sorta do the job but it is a lousy tool and the only tool.

If you know neither yourself nor your enemy, you will always endanger yourself.

Oh, sorry Mr. Bowie. I was posting something when yours came up so I didn't see it, haha. I still would intend to have a dm in overseeing it, but they would just not have that section of the game planned ahead of time. By random I just mean each room is invented as the players enter it.
Sure it's pretty scary when the witch lord returns but what you should really be afraid of is "Resurrection of the Witch Lord". Resurrected baddies always come back more threatening than ever, usually kind of demonic with wings and horns and hell fire to announce their arrival. Think Gannondorf or Mother Brain from Super Metroid.

i have made a program for making randomized dungeon using a listing of elements (types of monsters, types of furnitures, numbers of doors). It works with the classic HQ board and with any modular board !!!

It works very well. The program also compute traps and secret doors in real time. It can also loads some special mj events and generate random treasures, special monsters (boss) and artifacts.

The program is finished, unfortunatly, it is in french. But I can translate it if you're interested, but you will have to correct it after I have done a approximative translation.

You can find it here :

You got me excited there for a second... but then I saw the word "blogger" and realized the great firewall of China has it blocked. Haha. I guess I would be willing to assist in corrections(it is one of the things I have been doing for a living the last 4 years), though I wouldn't dare impose on you the trouble of translating it. It does sound great though.

Good thing yeoldeinn.com is still available. ;)

Except that Baidu's spider spends nearly a full 24 hours per day on the Website and forum. :?

I am quite happy to be able to distract myself with yeoldeinn while I'm here, that's for certain. I suspect there is little or no reason for China to throw up blocks against you guys, if I might say so myself.
