for many many years the original white dwarf was based on the HQ character until the 200th edition (I think it was 200) where they got the artist Wayne England to do a new version.

Yes I heard that he was the symbol for the magazine and heroquest

I think they may have even made a limited run model based on the Wayne England change. If I remember right his helmet looks like he was holding a croissant!

I honestly had no idea this Whitebeard guy existed. Not an incredibly imaginative name, so whatever. On the plus side, it sounds like I always win... I take that back, that sounds boring.

Actually the Dwarf might not actually be alive, he could be a spirit, no one knows, and as Games Workshop don't do fun anymore we'll never know!

I heard the White Dwarf will be released as a new multi-part plastic kit for 64 pounds.
