I think ninjas are so over rated.
For RPG purposes a Ninja is just rouge in a pretty gay suit.

I also like the idea of cards toning down an otherwise OP Hero while allowing more flavor. Plus they put rules where that are easily accessed and tracked. |_P I think they could also be implemented with an advancement system, like Phoenix did with combat cards.

Cards help keep the rules simple. I love new heroes, but if they cannot fit their abilities on the cardboard hero card and skill/spell cards I won't play them. More rules = less fun in my book. (But if you like rules go for them. :) )

Agreed. I like the cards because they keep the rules simple.
