and what do you think about stealing body point to other heroes for raising undead. It could create some great conflicts, and perhaps, the necromancer should go to the zargon's player side because the other players want to kill him.

'Raising the Dead' isn't evil in itself. It's what you command the dead to then DO that is good, evil or downright depraved.
It's the religious nitwit Paladins that claim raising the dead is evil. Yet they can turn around and pray to their god all day, then slaughter an entire village in the name of holy crusade and call it 'good'.

"If two billion people do a stupid thing, it is STILL a stupid thing."

I've been thinking about this, why not turn the whole game round, have the DM in charge of a group of goodies, Paladins, Crusaders, US Marines, what you will, led by Bill, and have the players in charge of the baddies, Necromancers, Conjurers, Zebs, Samuri, Gayloin the Firmir Mage. What does the team think :?: :?:

We're NOT baddies! We're adventurers. We just don't fit with what others try to portray us as!
Sunshine and Georgeous are what you guys label 'good', Korisu and possibly Ninja are 'neutral' and me and Zebs are bad? Gimme a break.
Georgeous killed an unarmed prisoner. Sunshine, despite her non-violence stance sure doesn't mind winging an arrow in the back of some orcs so long as they are far away and Korisu doesn't do anything "evil". Just chaotic.

Zebs never ate the baby (so far as I know) and as for me - well! Kill one already expiring 4 month old that was already chewed up some and spat out by an orc, for a Necromantic spell that could save, oh, the entire EARTH and you're slapped on a label of EVIL!

huff.... puff.... puff...

Re: Necromancer

Postby Von Necron » December 31st, 2011, 12:17 am

I'm sorry to be a web necromancer and bring this topic back but I didn't want to start a new necromancer thread. I was game master and I let my buddies pick any hero they could think of then I spent time creating them. My one buddy chose anti paladin and necromancer. So I stole some diablo 2 art and made spell card backers and a profile card. Then I took ideas from diablo, d&d, warhammer, and a few of my own. We were big into character development. So I gave out 50 experience points every quest that they could spend on new spells and abilities. So I also spent time on a large variety of spells for them to choose from. I kept spell casters at the same stats as the wizard just with different spells and a different miniature which I think was a forgotten realm mini or a reaper.

#1) if any thread can be safely Necromanced then the Necromancer thread would be it!

#2) After that teaser you're not going to actually show the cards and things you made?!? Cmon man! We're going to beg with puppy eyes...

Ok. I still paint minis so next day I get with free time I'll dig them up. I still got to find out how to post pics on this forum. You got me excited though I'll stay on it.
