Hi everyone!
I recently bought and painted a Dwarf Brawler He looks awesome but I'm having a hard time figuring out what to give him as skill cards. Has anyone made a similar character? What did you you give the class?

How would you write this guy??

Isn't the classic Dwarf Hero already a dwarven fighter?
Anyway, there was a Dwarf Trolll Slayer in one White Dwarf, Kili Thekkrsson.

Maybe can be helpful. I also remember someone here on the Inn did an alternative version of the troll slayer dwarf.

BGG user: DracoDruid, posted some very simple but functional Character Creation Rules Here.

This approach ignores species in the formula, instead focusing on balancing stats and abilities in a very simple format. It's pretty fun to play around with and at the very least, could give you ideas on how to approach your design.

I always understood that HeroQuest's Dwarf was a warrior/fighter.

Fighter may be the incorrect term. I have a very muscular weapon less big dwarf with hand wraps and pictured him in hand to hand combat just beating monsters up. Maybe Monk is the proper term to use since they seem to be fighter style.

So Dwarf Brawler may be a better term to use.

Maybe this guy is worth a playtest:

Brawler

Mv: 2 red dice, At: 2, De: 2, BP: 8, MP: 2
Starting Weapon: fists

You are the Brawler, an extra-tough
warrior so skilled with fists and
throws that you don't use weapons
or armor. Though not skilled in trap
removal like the Dwarf, your
massive bulk can shrug off attacks
that would drop other warriors.

Iron Tough
After you defend, discard this
card to reroll any remaining
hits scored against you.
Whenever you roll a white
shield in defense, you may
regain this card.

Lethal Weapon
Pay double the cost of a weapon
from the Armory to gain its
benefit for your attacks without
actually possessing the weapon.
Record this as "_______ skill" on
your Hero's character sheet. May
not be used with missile or
thrown weapons.

Hot Temper
The next time the Hero attacks,
he may roll two extra combat dice.
As long as the Hero scores an
unblocked hit in combat, he may
attack this way on his future turns.
This bonus ends when the Hero fails
to damage a monster on his turn.
