Some custom Quest Treasures

Postby moktira » October 23rd, 2020, 7:29 am

I used the resources here to create some custom Quest Treasures (Artefacts). I wanted to add some variety to the characters without creating an entirely different rule system so made a few character specific ones and a few general ones. I mostly used art from the Elf and Barbarian quests as I didn't really like those items.

I've only tested a few of them, some are helpful, others might be a little too powerful... Here's a preview:

Here's a printable version of all them if anyone is interested.

Thanks for your content!

The Claymore is perhaps too strong, as it has both a 4 dice, it can transfer “over kills” to other adjacent/diagonal opponents (allowing a cleave). Making it a power level that does damage at the “spirit blade” level but against all enemies.
3 Dice + Cleave + Diagonal Attack,No shield, Barbarian only would align it with the other Quest treasure.

Thanks for your response and sorry for only seeing it now (I just realised the dropbox link was no longer working).
That is one of the ones I'm worried about indeed, maybe even removing the diagonal would be enough as then the cleave is less commonly used so it's just a little better than the battle axe.
I did consciously want to make the character specific ones late game treasures as after the basic quests you never get any more items or treasures but ones you get to things like Ogre Horde the difficulty increases significantly.
