Anyone have a clue on what's going on with OldScratch's forum?
Has been showing me Server Error 503 for weeks now...

I hadn't been there in a while, but I just tried it and I got an error too. No idea.

This is probably a recent error; I recall opening the forum within the last couple of weeks and seeing it up fine.

I visit all HQ forums daily, usually more often than once.
The error has been there for at least ten days if not two full weeks.
There seems to be no reaction from Biff, no change, no e-mail, no nothing, which gets my German knickerbockers in a twist.

I didn't have the same error... but There is a similar mistake when I browse image galleriy and open the images in multiple windows

Seems like oldscratch goes through periods of not being functional.

I'd not visited it for months, seems like there was never much happening there.

There was some good historical content from its hay day, sad that's lost. I suspect that it may be gone for good this time.

So, the forum is still intact. The problem was that I'm running some ancient software and my server got upgraded and so the two things were mad at each other. I contacted my support dudes and they kiiinda told me how to fix it, but when I tried it it didn't take.

So just now I went and tried a few more things. Looks like I got rid of the angry parts, but I'm not sure if I got rid of any real necessary parts. So the whole thing might explode, who knows!

This error was new to my forums. The errors in the past have been something else that usually just required the support people to flip a switch and it'd be fixed within minutes of me reporting it.

Anyway, it's fixed now. Sorry it took a while to get it going again. Been busy working and hadn't really had the time to dig into a bunch of code I know nothing about. Might be a good time to upgrade my forum software, but my hosting space is just about full, so I don't know if I can do that any time soon. Thankfully though everything seems to still be there.
