Nintendo are giving away codes to download the event-only pokemon "Marshadow".
It's a piece of paper which you just pick up in any participating store.
Sadly they are a bunch of meatheads and can't tell us which stores actually participate.
But if YOU just happens to notice any game/toy/hobby store giving out these codes, please snag one for me.

The event runs from 1. Oct - 15. Nov

United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Netherlands and Belgium are the countries that run the event.

Edit: So official Nintendo is garbage, but luckily a little internet detective work could reveal the participating stores:

Gamestop in Germany & Italy
GAME in Spain
Intertoys in The Netherlands, Belgium and Sweden
GameMania in The Netherlands & Belgium, as well as Cora, Smartoys & FNAC in Belgium

That would be great! Though I know from when they have been doing events here in Denmark they have been terrible at advertising it.
You kinda have to already know the event is running and specifically ask for a code.

But I would greatly appreciate any effort to get a code

So there's another event coming in November as well:

Serial codes to obtain Shiny Silvally will be available at participating retailers in North America and Europe in October and November.
This Silvally will know its signature move, Multi-Attack.
It is being distributed to promote the release of the Crimson Invasion TCG expansion, which will be released on November 3, 2017.

PAL region codes will be available from different stores in each country. These codes can be redeemed until February 13, 2018.

* In the United Kingdom, it will be available at GAME stores from November 3 to 16, 2017.
* In France, it will be available at Micromania stores. Official sources conflict as to whether it will be available from November 3 to 16 or from November 4 to 16, 2017.
* In Germany, it will be available via Nintendo Zone at GameStop stores from November 3 to 16, 2017.
* In Italy, it will be available at GameStop stores from November 3 to 16, 2017.
* In Spain, it will be available via Nintendo Zone at GAME stores from November 3 to 16, 2017.

Why do they make events like this? Why isn't it's just via wifi? :evil:

Yeah... I know...

But what's the point of doing events to draw people into the stores if the stores won't participate!
WHY DON'T DANISH STORES PARTICIPATE?!?

UK, France, Italy, Spain, Germany...
that's the list of countries with the most inhabitants in Europe, by a wide margin.
Most gamers in absolute numbers, of course.
Maybe stores in Denmark and other countries are few and far between and ...
