DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT UPGRADE YOUR WINDOWS 7 OR 8 MACHINE TO 10 YET!!!!
I did, and every friggin 2 minutes my firefox freezes and NOTHING I DO responds anymore.
Nothing. I can click everything, but nothing happens. Even the shut down and reboot buttons don't respond.
Only remaining option is a hard reset. I am seriously p*$$3d off right now. My pc has become utterly useless, and I need to work on it daily. Great. I HOPE Microsoft will get their act together soon or they can expect lots of angry people asking for recompensations for lost time... *scream of RAGE*

What about all your files man? Those are backed up or not effected? That's a lot of art you would lose.

No the HDD's are fine, but the entire OS is crap. It keeps freezing on EVERYTHING!!
All your programs (they call them apps now... sigh.. really?) freeze within 2 minutes of use. Then click away all you want, nothing responds to anything. So angry right now...

I just bought a Windows 8 Asus Zenbook UX305FA (ultra book) and I upgrade it immediately... No issues.
Linux Mint 17.2 runs perfectly!

Well, fortunately, win10 has the option to revert back to your previous installation, so I tried that, and my old trusty Win7 is back, thank the gods. I'll wait a bit with Win10...

Between how crappy the Xbox One was launched and Windows 10, Microsoft is going to piss off everyone they haven't already and go belly up.

As an "even" numbered windows version, you are not even supposed to use it. Which is why they skipped "9" and went straight to 10. Next version will be 12.
Corporate IT departments will stick with 7 for a very long time.
