Ye Olde Inn

Hi all,
I'm working on a couple of books...one for each of the two fantasy worlds that I've created. Both are going to be a mix of short stories,
poems, and journals from the characters in the world. The book this story comes from is about 11 pages so far - this story, another is
half complete, one journal entry, and one poem.

Anyway, I wanted to share this - let everyone see a glimps of my work and hopefully drum up some interest in my book (for whenever
I manage to finish it). I will probably share a couple more free pieces before I get to publishing it.

Vicari Riendell is an ardent follower of Gildaerin, one of the many Mortal Gods of Suntarynn. Until now, his worship has been quiet and peaceful, his life being lived within the confines of the Jal Enwae Temple.

Gildaerin has given Vicari a vision, and he must now go out into the world to show Gildaerin's power. Vicari will be his Mortal God's sword and shield within the fantasy world of Suntarynn.

To start with, there are two orc tribes that must be dealt with.

I found something you might be interested in. First paragraph, Second sentence: His eyes are adjusting to the darkness. Whether he had been sleeping or meditating, his eyes would already be adjusted (or over adjusted) for dim moonlight.

Or would they be?? Hmmmmmm??
