as ill be off for the next week hopefully getting some well deserved and long overdue rest, I'd like to wish you all a merry Christmas and hope everyone at the inn have a great time over the holiday period

Merry Christmas! I'm gonna be having a few games going with family; some new players are joining, but I'm not sure if I'm gonna start them out fresh, or let them pick up where others left off. They just got the wizard's cloak, then we're doing the trial, because I had put it off. I figure if at least one player from before is in, then why start over?

We played a game of HQ on Xmasday, the Eyes of Chaos part 1. I had finished half of my ogre army, enough to play, and my family loved em! Report soon!!

Actually, I considered playing HQ yesterday (Dec 26 still belongs to christmas in German speaking countries). We had a meeting with the family of my wife, to which she has a somewhat problematic relationship. To avoid subject matters thar could lead to arguments, we decided to prepare a few boardgames and a RPG (as they had asked her before about those "funny games" we play), and I thought HQ would be a good starter for people who don't know RPGs, when there is not much time to explain the whole thing. But after all, the evening went (mostly) nice, and so we kept it to small talk...
