Ye Olde Inn

The 25th Anniversary edition of HQ has been cancelled, due to intellectual property dispute, as we knew would happen.
I was looking forward to this and seeing all of the new minis and stuff, but the game itself looked as though It had moved away from the original system and concept.
They had the game nearly complete too, which must be frustrating.
What are your thoughts?

They should just remove the HeroQuest name and all would be well.
It's probably a pretty fun game if you like HQ.
Some of the minis are okay.
Tiles and stuff.
But stop trying to milk the HQ brand.

wait, what!? where did you get that information? Hasn't GZ funded this through that Spanish crowdfunding site? Is this something new?

posted on kickstarter and thats when the problems started, It was no real surprise because many companies have tried, but there is confusion as to who actually owns it, GW or MB otherwise it would have probably kept going.

Do you have a source for this? Did GameZone really have to halt the project even after being successfully funded on Lanzanos?

I do think you think the Kickstarter end of project was the last of it. It wasn't.

Old news I think. http://www.heroquestclassic.com/en/ is still up and running and gamezone also still have HQ25 on their website

HQ25 got pulled from kickstarter after a complaint/legal intervention by Moon Design (I think they own the Heroquest name/TM now )

Gamezone then tried to fund it through Verkami but the same thing happened..

Finally, GZ got HQ25 funded through Lanzanos
