Dice Towers (post pics!)

Has anyone got any cool building designs for dice towers? preferably in plywood or cardboard, that can be taken apart again and stored perhaps? And customizable with a nice dungeon design?

I'm thinking of making one myself. The wood can be carved a bit on the outside to resemble stonework, then painted so it lokks like an actual tower. Then I'd use plexiglass as the cover, and make a wooden bottom to catch the dice in and to put the tower in for storage.

May I suggest padding the whole thing with felt?

I just made one out of 3/16 plywood, its a little loud.... but i haven't used it for a game yet so not sure how annoying it will be.

How do you build felt with Lego?

I like the feel of rolling dice from your own hand. I think a dice tower would slow things way down on a heavy HQ combat.
I use these two trays I made out of cardboard and cheap felt. Lowers the noise a lot as well.
They are 20x25 cm. They are a little short which could be a problem if dice are thrown fiercely (they might bounce of the tray) but it encourages players to throw the dice gently and be civil.

Some of us are rather rough with our dice. For example we have one wizard in our group whom refers to his staff as "The Boomstick" and must throw the dice viciously on the table while yelling "BOOM" every time he tries a melee attack.
