How was your holiday, folks?
My (soon-to-be) Mrs gave me the D&D Ravenloft game. I'm excited. I may start punching things out tonight. She also gave me a "critical hit" d20, which flashes LEDs when you roll a 20.
She, on the other hand, got her first ser of polyhedral dice. She's excited to play a game that uses them. And on top of that, the HQ crew is merging for a holiday gathering and a quest on Friday!

Excelent!
Got some dungeon tiles from TSR and a proper battle mat from Chessex myself. Now I can retire the home made laminated battle mat I have been ussing.
Can't wait to break them in!

I picked up a copy of Legend of Drizzt for christmas... fairly high quality production... although the minis are a soft plastic not sure if i like that yet or not.

I got the videogame Lord of the Rings: War in the North for my wife and myself. Played through normal mode with her and we loved it! Short, but very cool.
We also tried our hand at Left 4 Dead (1 and 2) which I got for nearly free through heavy trading on Steam. It's pretty funny, but my wife got a bit scared
Nothing HQ related. Still need to paint LOTS of mini's, so my HQ addiction is on hold for now. We did play a game of HQ with the in-laws

My wife bought me a sword with a cross on the hilt and gauntlets. I'm going to a renisance fair dressed as a vampire hunter. I've got a flintlock boots a pilgrims hat and a mallet and flask already. I just need a cape. I've got sheet metal I'm making a breast plate with. I may even make a steampunk looking crossbow.
