Flesh! you didn't tell us you are a Vigneron. Do you make your wine from the grape, or from a shop-bought kit. Years ago, I made Elderberry Wine, and red from a kit. Now I make Sloe Gin, when the Sloes are in season, or use about a pound of big black plums, pricked all over with a needle, then into a wide necked bottle, with 2 dessert spoons of sugar. Finally, a bottle of cheap gin. Screw the lid on the bottle. Leave for three months to marinate, upending the bottle occasionally to disperse the sugar. Strain through a muslin cloth, and drink as you would with Tonic water, no lemon. I usually have a couple of bottles on the go, so there is always some to hand in the drinks cupboard.

I've done both, shop bought kits, and already crushed grapes. I think the crushed grapes gave a superior product, and I will make em again this fall.

Grandmas' Pizza Recipie; Gently fry some chopped bacon, onion, garlic & mushroom in a little oil of your choice. Warm some pitta breads, spread with tomato puree, paste or ketchup. Top with plenty of grated cheese. Pile on the bacon mix, sprinkle with a little mixed herbs. Pop under the grill until the cheese melts. Enjoy.

Once had something that looked like one tiny sliced pickle in Japan. Only it moved in my mouth. was a sea slug, put on a plate and sliced several times while still alive.

Washed that one down with alot of beer the instant I figured out what it was.

Sounds to me like real Necromancers Food. After the Jellied Eels, I had marinated green olives, then mixed salad, Quiche and sardines. Topped off with a finger of Mature Cheddar. Eased on its way with some South African Merlot. Now, some might say, "Real Men don't eat Quiche", but hey, at my age, who cares
