Apparently I missed this question aimed at me a while back.
Good the thread is being revived so I can answer
No, everything me and my buddy does is 2D.
I do most of the graphics and sfx, while he does most of the coding.
We both contribute evenly with music. Sometimes we even collaborate on the music. I'm slightly better at writing catching tunes while he is slightly better at arranging the music.
We have a couple of other contributers who have helped out, on/off.
But mostly it's just the two of us.

The only catch is that all the games are multiplayer only.
"Tropicalypse" being the exception, but I honestly think that's the worst game also.
I highly recommend "Crawlers" if you have some controllers.
Actually they are all pretty fun, except "Tropicalypse"

I'm skateboarding too, man! I've been doing this for almost 20 years now but it's still a lot of fun and some very good counterbalance for my office job and the rest of my hobbies:
