I don't think its a parents responsabillity to pay for there kid to go to collage get a scholarship or join the army :2cents: . Chaotic I had the same *lemony goodness* in my life you did with the Rapture and all that. I can't tell you how many times *lemony goodness* got burned or thrown away due to it being a satanic doorway into a spirit realm. Praying in tongues, people getting slain in the spirit. shaking and wailing, crying and laughing .
Thanks for the insight into your world! It's nice to know some history about you. ;)

If a parent can, they should. My mom eventually wound up poor as *lemony goodness*, but when my parents were still married and living in Alaska, my father's practice raked in millions each year. He wasted all of the money on boats and other toys. When I graduated from school, I got a gift card to Best Buy for $20.00.

I totally almost got into a fist-fight with my brother's brother-in-law, Mark, over freakin' string-theory.

While talking among company, I stated that antimatter wasn't naturally occurring. He argued that "its out there." Basically, his point was that it was present on other branes. I argued that that isn't antimatter, its matter, only relative to a theoretical place that is neither "here or there." He started to try to explain string theory to me, but I stopped him with the accusation that he wasn't even trying to argue any kind of point anymore, but just rambling. I basically shouted at him for awhile, about how he began neglecting the original argument, and then he accused me of going off on a tangent--when that was exactly what he had done. He then accused me of arguing badly, when all I was doing was telling him that. I got up into his face, and told him that he was going to get "knocked the fraggle out." He told me to "go ahead," but then my mom jumped between us. He was a big ol' cracker, but he was still smaller than me.

So, yeah, I almost got into a fist-fight over science.

It's why scientists write books and papers.
Dr. Curtis Connors lost his arm over suggesting to his colleague to shove his cat up his arse to see if it's dead or alive or both at the same time.
