A note to anyone interested, the Screaming Specter is the book containing the Solo Quest "Running the Gauntlet".

Perhaps we should open some sort of Bartering Table forum in the future, hmm?

Holy crap this is from a long time ago, but I might as well ask, is this still available? Probably not haha.
Sure it's pretty scary when the witch lord returns but what you should really be afraid of is "Resurrection of the Witch Lord". Resurrected baddies always come back more threatening than ever, usually kind of demonic with wings and horns and hell fire to announce their arrival. Think Gannondorf or Mother Brain from Super Metroid.

Yes this is very true.

However be careful who you are buying it from. I tried to acquire two copies of this book last week at a price that couldn't be beat, $11.04 a book with only two copies left. Well they (worldofbooks on eBay) decided that, that price was too cheap. They wanted to refund my money because the book "were to damaged". The company turned around and re listed the books at around a 250% markup. They now want like $275.00 per book. :o

That's horrible. I would be very annoyed if I were in your shoes.
I've read these recently and, of the three, The Screaming Sceptre is the worst in my opinion. I don't really like the main story or the choose your own adventure part, and whilst the Running the Guantlet part is great, it's available for free at the Inn. No way I would pay that marked up price, but I know there are a lot of serious collectors around here.

I bought a Screaming Spectre copy years ago, and it was sold with an Orc Shaman miniature for the cheap price of 7 usd (auction)!! What a bargain!
I've seen that couple of books you are talking about, I wanted to buy it because they were sold at a resonable price too but I already had one of them so I left it for some days thinking about buy it or not, then after few days I've seen they were sold.
I am still searching for the other 2 at a good price.
