Thats right! Apparently somehow Prodos Games (who make Alien VS Predator) secured the rights of the name Space Crusade. However, that is pretty much where the similarities end! Have a look at it over at Prodos Games website. The shop has it for pre-order June 2016

What do you think about the sexualised space marine babes!?!? I can only say that it is a very risky move on Prodos; I hope they do well but I seriously doubt I'll be going down the Space Crusade Bikini Babes route!

I already saw this. As much as I like sexy miniatures, I just think these are poorly designed.
It doesn't look like sexy armor. It just looks like they forgot to equip parts of their normal armor. Boob-plates had been more appropriate here.
They didn't strike the chord between cool and sexy. Frankly these just look stupid, not cool.

Do they even know about GW's Space Crusade from the past? Maybe they don't and just went on with it. These days ya gotta wonder...

I think that they really underestimate their market, and are just trying to get the fan boys, not of space crusade but the animie geek chic group.
At least they are trying though.

You're referring to the theme, I'm talking about the name specifically.
Their Warzone Resurrection game (literally resurrected from dead Target Games' Warzone from 1995-2000, ca.) is a direct competitor to Warhammer 40,000.
I do not think they bought any rights to the name Space Crusade from GW, if the name is even an issue here given that it hasn't been used for 25 years in the boardgame market.
Let's just say from GW being who they are that it is indeed an issue, shall we?
Added to that we have Nurgle-like beasties, Space Marines, guys who look like Age of Sigmar-Sigmarites, "Demonettes"... I mean, come on... really now?

Yeah this stanks way to hard of trying to be edgy to me ... I can just imagine someone on the design team was like 'LOL gross fat chicks as enemies!'
