Or do they just cross-reference to a list in the rules? If the cards carry them themselves, a hero could see what he can't use after reading the restrictions on his character class card.
Thus, you could just write "none" where there are no restrictions.
I spoke to a couple other people about the restrictions thing and they all agreed it was consistently misinterpreted. So the fix was to change the wording from "Restrictions" to "May Not Use." As far as the keywords are concerned, I don't use equipment cards but you'll notice (just like the first time you asked ) I listed all the keywords and their definitions in a post a couple posts earlier here. But the principle stands. On the armory sheet, each item has its keywords listed so you can see what your particular choice of character class can or can't buy and use. So, with this change, any class with no restrictions, it will read, "May Not Use: No restrictions."
In related news, SUPER EXCITING NEWS, YOU GUYS!
I am THIS CLOSE to needing to change my pants here. Devin Night has agreed to provide tokens and sketches for monsters and heroes. If the name doesn't immediately ring a bell, Devin is one of the most prolific and best content artists in the VTT space, particularly for Roll20. His tokens are top, top quality. He's basically like a quasi-celebrity in the virtual tabletop circles. And he's doing custom art for HQP. I AM SO EXCITED!
His schedule is a little hectic, so he probably won't be able to get any sketches for me to use in the character class cards until about September. But that's okay, I don't have a deadline, and he has generously donated his skills and time to my project because he likes the game.
