Which green do you use for the new quest maps? Do we continue to use the Heroscribe US Monster green?

In the pdf quest book it seems to be (47, 98, 48) but that's not exactly the Heroscribe US Green which was a little bit brighter, like (100, 160, 110),

Thanks for the tip with the download of the rulebook pdf. I was just taking a look at the svg's inside, that's just great!

Free choice! Like an open buffet in great quality.

Thank you Hasbro!

As we prefer, I still use the black and white style only as it is more clean and easier to print for me.
I used 2 differnt tones of green, one to match Josh's icons and one to match the icon from the online quests (Rogar's Hall and FORSAKEN TUNNELS OF XOR-XEL).
I can easyly made a new green to match the old one from heroscribe.

And those Evil Wizard cards were using the difficulty system with what... red, orange/gold and purple (?) variants of the monster icons?
(but only for orc, goblin, skeleton and zombie).

Those cards and my 4-color-questbook use some custom colors that I would never try to present as official. :-)

Yeah but just for the sake of making a few cards, not necessarily cramming into HeroScribe. ;)

Also the image above of the abomination has the top of the "spike" clipped off...

I think especially for the small monsters, Archers and Spearmen variants are important :-)

I have to say, either I become a little conservative or I am too used to the old symbols. Those here are difficult to read for me. If you have a quest book in front of you and you try to decipher which monster is where, these symbols make it more difficult than the old ones, right? Well, for the sake of completing the parchment style and being compatible with the new generation of players, I will be using them anyway.

Yes, but it is taken from Rogar's Hall quest. it was clipped there too.

I also noticed this... They are drawn with thin lines. That's another reason why the old one is still the best version. The new one doesn't take care of small details like this.
And Gargoyle icon can be confused with the Dragon too.

There should be better images in the PDF that was posted on Avalon Hill's page. I haven't looked up close to see if they are clipped there though, to be fair.

The new images seem "more accurate" to the figures' faces, but not necessarily different enough from each other that you can always tell at a glance exactly who you are looking at. It's like they went for a "profile shot" more than a "symbolic representation" of the characters.
In the new set, some of the faces look a little more similar to each other (and zoomed out you have those thin lines of detail) unless you are used to looking at them. The furniture in some cases is a little more generic too, based on what they look like vs. differentiating them more easily like a symbol would. Some of it is just we're so used to looking at the old symbols for all these years, but yeah, not necessarily a complete improvement.

PS: What, no Gargoyle archer?

No. But you can make one if you want :D  Also, using the  smiley on me! ...?!?! .... !!!

I just made the spirit queens torment into Heroscribe format, and I have to say that the Skeleton and the Chaos Warrior look better proportioned to me than in the original. Also, the face of the original Chaos Warrior is excellently depicted, but the new one looks more blocky, more....strong.

But still, they ARE more difficult to read. I like the new monster color, though. I could adapt to that, quite fast.

My personal python version that makes SVG from Heroscribe maps has tremendous difficulties placing rotated versions of the SVG's. I seem to be too stupid to get it under control. That's why you still can't have an exe, where you drag and drop a Heroscribe map on top, and out comes an EU, an US and an Hasbro SVG Map.
