I'm a true virgin to this game, even though I was the target age when this game was released and had some friends who had it I have never actually played it. Finally succumbed to a overpriced ebay purchase of the main game set and will get it in the mail soon. Love how you have the high quality PDF's as those expansion sets are crazy expensive for essentially some plastic and paper.

...apparently they are just plastic and paper... but for someone are piece of history and part of our childhood. I remember how many days I spent watching (and longing) a tiny pic of the Wizards of Morcar expansion inside a magnifying glass that was on a flayer. I was not able to get my hands on it until I grow up, got a job and discovered ebay and internet!
Anyway... welcome to the forum and congratulations for your purchase!!!

Hopefully I can find people to play this game. Seems most people nowadays are into the euro games and some game called descent that's supposed to be like this but more convoluted.

Just invite them over for a game of Descent, then appologize for getting it mixed up with HQ. They will thank you for it when the night is over.

FYI: HQ was developed in the UK, making it European.

HQ is a euro game. And better than the rest.
Tell your Descent playing pals to jump ship.
They'll be better off for it.

AND... welcome to the crackin' Good world of HeroQuest fandom!
