The costs have been surprisingly low thanks to all the content here, Old Scratch, and BoardGameGeek :)

I've been really happy with how the figures look, which mainly is due to the incredible art made by tacoma_boy over at BoardGameGeek. Here's a small sample:

That's one of the coolest sets of miniatures I've seen. I want to make a set for myself too. It'll also be a great set to pass onto your kids someday.

Somebody send this guy some damn miniatures. I hate watching people suffer (when I didn't cause the suffering).

Lol thanks. The fabrication has been a really fun new hobby :) I'll admit I've probably reinvented the wheel a few times, but the problem solving has been a great learning experience. Also, my buddies and I can only get together to play on rare occasions. This helps scratch the HQ itch ;)

That's my hope :) My son LOVES to play with the figures. He's a bit young (3 1/2) to really grasp how to play the game, but we have fun doing little mini-battles.

Thanks! I went with a modular design after running across this topic here :) Plus, one of the issues we came across when we played last was as the night wore on (and beers were consumed) we kept knocking over the doors. With the modular board I was able (or rather am in the process of) making doors that get sandwiched and held in place between the 1/4 thick tiles.

Here's the completed board:

And lastly my (overly simple) door idea:

*edit: fixed the pictures
