Seems I'm counted among the many geeks who have renewed interest in this game after 20 years or so. I've had HeroQuest since I was a kid, but due to lack of friends and a short attention span I never really played it back then. I did try making dungeons a few times, but nothing ever came of it. Exploring this site renewed my interest in the game, and I've been indulging myself with HeroScribe for the last two weeks, using whatever was available at Ye Olde Inn to make fun custom quests and stuff. Also got a couple friends interested in the game (finally) and have run a few very fun sessions.

Anyway, hello to everybody, and thanks for saving my copy from collecting dust on the shelf!

I managed to get ahold of the base board game and the return of the witch lord expansion from some friends whose locale gamestore was closing down. I am painting everything and combining rules from alot the resources on this site.
