The members that live in the United States would have a heck of a time trying to ship spray paint cans anywhere.

When you ship a package the first thing they ask is if you shipping hazardous materials. Cologne is also considered a hazardous material when shipping,which I never knew.

Now I do know that you need a special license to be able to ship alcoholic beverages, found that out when a gentlemen in front of me at the post office was trying to ship some wines made here in Santa Fe to someone,He was pretty pissed when the post office wouldn't ship it. The Post office clerk then mentioned to him that they can't ship anything in an alcohol labeled box,even if the box did not contain booze and you were using it for something else.

I am not sure if these rules took in affect due to 911, I just might have to check that out on the net.

My dad once mailed me a bottle of Crown Royale (I don't know why), so I know its possible to sneak stuff through--he did so by wrapping it up in shirts.

There is an entirely other reason why it might be impossible to ship american paints to EU.
In the EU, we have to proove that something is not too hazardous before we might sell it. In the US it has to be proven by the customers that something is hazardous before it is taken out of sale.

This applies especially to chemistry, methods and machines.

So my rough guess: No way to get american paint into EU.

@Anderas: I know that it's not allowed to sell those things "officially" for that reason - but I thought a private parcel might just slip under the raster.
But as I said before, I will first ask my local hobby store. Perhaps Armor All paints do meet the EU guidelines and are in fact not prohibited at all. May be just for market/management reasons, that they are not normally sold in Europe.

It's a habit with all kinds of product to sell it under different names (even those of distributors) in different countries.
Cars spring to mind and Pegasus Farben (Reaper Paints, re-named after the distributor).
Trying to say here that Armor All could be already on the market, for all I know.
