[5th] The epic 2016 Yeoldeinn Christmas exchange

Big surprise waiting for me today. A small cubical package arrived at my doorstep from a land far away. I opened it up to find this AWESOME dwarf made by Zealot miniatures, based on a Zealot rectangular base that is almost identical to the HeroQuest ones and painted with much detail and much love from my Secret Santa. I can't thank you enough for this mini, friend. I wish you a merry Christmas, a happy new year, and hope you also receive a mini that will make your day, as this one did with mine.

Very cool paint job. The giver did forget to trim the surplus finger on his right hand. I just got one and it was easy to trim the extra index (pointing) finger. The base is an EU style and original to HQ.

@ Geofonos: Great miniature! Could you make a photo without flashlight in the daylight? It will look even better than now. Where are the bookcase from, by the way?

The dwarf looks great, I'd guess it's Spiky or Mophus. I like playing the guessing game for the arrived figures.

In fact, everything looks great, the fimir I'm pretty sure is made by knightkrawler.

Another guess would be for the wizard lady that Mophus received, probably done by Goblin King?

The skeleton with the santa hat is very nice as well, I did a santa hat for the 1st exchange and it wasn't as nicely done, thus I can say I'm definitely not the skeleton sender. So, whoever sent that, kudos to your handiwork.

Keep the figures coming, probably next week we'll see most of them.

Six Finger Joe is a great miniature, too! I have one, too, and I love it. The extra finger makes it more valuable for my eyes. It's like we share a secret.

Yes I would appreciate some pictures without flash, too. The face seems to be finely shaded.

interesting looking orc! at the risk of summoning the painter and give away his ID, what's the pattern on sword supposed to be? just curious, I can't think of something applicable myself.
