Holy lemony goodness!!!

What's just happened to the price of HQ stuff on eBay? WoM are set at 3-400 $
Guess it's the christmas season setting in...

At least I have enough expansions right now to wait this price-storm out...

Help me understand something. Why does someone HAS to have winning bid 4 days before the auction ends?
Check this barbarian quest pack http://www.ebay.com/itm/260911888430?ss ... 1438.l2649
4 days to go and already 28 bids? Is it for some people too hard to understand the bidding system?
Just decide how much you want to spend and bid on the final seconds.
Don't they realise that with constant bidding the price is always going up?
I think the people who own these rare packs are not appreciative of what they have and I don't blame them for trying to make money of them.
I blame those people that bid amount after amount just to be the winning bidder and on the last moment they lose the item to a price that they probably would match.
Sooooo stupid!!!

actually i think you're supposed to decide how much you want to spend max and then put that bid in - 'when' is irrelevent.

Perhaps a year or 2 ago it might have been a good time to speculate in HQ products. Surely the market will peak soon, if it hasn't already.

Most current owners/players are those that had it when they are kids, when we all either have it or move on I doubt generation z will be that interested and prices will plumet. That is my prediction.

But then it will be too late - because we all either have it or have moved on!!!

1. Everybody! Buy Super Dungeon Explore
2. Don't open the box or rip the wrapping
3. Wait 20 years
4. Sell to generation z
5. Profit!

Exactly !

The Super detailed minis like the ones in super dungeon explore will be gold in 10 years.
Same for Descent V1 & all its expansions soon deleted by Descent V2.
Same forD&D Castle Ravenloft, Wrath of Ashardalon & Legend of Drizzt : gold gold gold !

The entire HeroQuest line is very old, Space Crusade too but you can find everything on the web to make your own [and now I also sell resin painted floor tiles better than the original board !]
You also have more detailed figurines to replace the old ones.

About Ebay, was a great place to sell things years ago.
However today with the hidden nicknames politic that Ebay launches itself to get more dissimulate profit : NO WAY NO TRUST !
-> We know that poor people are paid a misery all the day to bid on the announces and make ebay wins more % on the sales
-> We know many people are making many profiles to cheat buyers and make incredible high prices : NO WAY NO TRUST.

That's why today Ebay lost his monopole face to the wave of the free announce websites : no fees, you sell directly, close to your home or in the entire country. People have enough to pay fees to publish, fees on the sale, fees on the postage & package, fees on the douan : pay pay pay.

Now let's go back about the reality of HeroQuest : millions of sales and the expansions are just overpriced for the value of the minis Games Workshop let rest in peace ...

Huh? And here I am, struggling to fit the figure making into my schedule, having together the material and thinking I could do it during christmas holidays... and now you've done it already... :smack: OK, glad to hear it worked. You are anyways better suited for this, owning all the expansions. Wich method did you use? How much would you want for those? Please put me on the list!
Have a look ;)
