I have been trying to find some HQ dice that are not left overs from Ebay.
Surfing the net I have seen some really cool looking HQ dice out there in personal collections but I can't seem to find any for sale that are good dice.

They may seem expensive, but they are far cheaper than the average set of HQ dice selling on eBay.

They come in many colours, but the alternate colours have different symbol ratios, for use in creating home-brew equipment with special attacks and defence. The white and pink dice have the same sides as the original HQ dice. Some of the others have more skulls, double skulls and double shields. Here's a pic of them and each side they have:

I plan on getting some of each one day. I have some good home-brew ideas for the special-sided dice.

those were the very dice I was lusting!

I am really likeing the purple set and the orange set.

A cursed item that requires a Hero to roll the black or blue dice for all Defense rolls would be a rather vicious curse....

So I followed those links and sent the guy who owns the dice store an email, but I got no response.

Those dice are so cool. Too bad there was no one selling them on a web site I can understand.

I've updated my post with the dice picture and added a second link to another Old Scrath thread with more info about the dice.

I think the purple dice could be available for the first 2 or 3 rooms of a quest as the Heroes will be well rested and ready to kick butt.
After that go to the white dice as they become fatigued.
