I have been trying to find some HQ dice that are not left overs from Ebay.
Surfing the net I have seen some really cool looking HQ dice out there in personal collections but I can't seem to find any for sale that are good dice.

There is a German Website that sells HQ style dice. http://www.shopping-guru.de/index.php?m ... Path=94_98
They may seem expensive, but they are far cheaper than the average set of HQ dice selling on eBay.
They come in many colours, but the alternate colours have different symbol ratios, for use in creating home-brew equipment with special attacks and defence. The white and pink dice have the same sides as the original HQ dice. Some of the others have more skulls, double skulls and double shields. Here's a pic of them and each side they have:

A cursed item that requires a Hero to roll the black or blue dice for all Defense rolls would be a rather vicious curse....

I think the purple dice could be available for the first 2 or 3 rooms of a quest as the Heroes will be well rested and ready to kick butt.
After that go to the white dice as they become fatigued.
