Postby Pitbullsandaks » March 9th, 2015, 9:17 pm

Wondering if anyone has any extra Mage in the mirror parts to spare so I can complete my set? Mainly want the cards and minis.
Here's what I need:
Big globe tile
1 double pit tile
2 dog tiles
Tile with axe
All chaos cards
All artifact cards but staff
1 monster card I think the elvin warrior card
Archer minis x2
Warrior mini X11
My Mage needs a head
Quest book

Thanks in advance

Everything you list other than the minis can be printed off from the resourses here at the Inn.

For the tiles I suggest printing them to normal paper then gluing the paper to a piece of cardboard like from a cereal box. I have a pile of tiles I made in this fashion and they work great.

As for mini's....I hate that my only answer is the bay...but it is where I have picked up all the HQ stuff I own that I haven't printed myself.

gluing to cardboard from a cereal box - that's brilliant. I'm surprised I haven't seen that
suggestion on here before now. Always plenty of cereal boxes around here, and it's not
as thick and damage prone as regular cardboard. :) Thanks!

you betcha
I have probably 100+ rooms and tiles I have made this way. They are rather sturdy.
I use a glue stick for the glue and I am very careful to get the entire piece of paper I am gluing covered. I tend to print out a sheet, cut the rooms or tiles out then glue it in smaller pieces then cut the pieces from the cardboard. I have a nice paper cutter I use that makes perfect cuts so the tiles come out square and true.

Thanks. I planned on doing this for some stuff. I think I'll probably have to use a beer box though.

That is probably a spiffy idea. The cardboard is a tad thicker. I have used soda pop boxes, but the boxes I buy are not large enough for a full sheet of paper.
The hard part is to get square cuts that are true. I suggest a paper cutter that has the moxie to cut through thin cardboards.
As I don't drink beer more than the rare occasion I get pressured into one I never have beer boxes.
