Hey guys ,

I represent Pyrkol, and we design acrylic markers to enhance gaming experience.
For those of you who can be interested, we have designed some simple heart tokens suitable for Heroquest, avoiding wear and tear of character sheets.



As soon as possible we are also thinking on some mind tokens.
If you have any other suggestions, tokens you would like to see for heroquest, let us know!

you could make transparent clear circular bases, 1.5mm thick, to use as alternative bases for minis. People use them for zombicide a lot.

What about the mind tokens I was speaking about, do you guys have any particular shape in mind.. I was thinking on something more "magical" than a brain drawing or something like that.

Also in my experience of Heroquest I find useful something to track remaining life of monsters..

Coins are simply noted on yout pad, keeping actual coins would be awkward in my opinion. You could make Gems though, as some treasures are gems, which are worth X gold, but some people have thought up a use for gems instead of just trading them for money as it were.

Perhaps a lightnig bolt symbol, as mind points are used mostly for magic anyway? Think of "brainstorm" or "flash of genius". Or a stylized head with thoughtfully closed eyes? Or a cloudlike form, like the thought ballons in comics?

Can you make only "flat" markers or also fully threedimensional ones?
edit: After visiting your website, it seems it's all flat, cut-out forms (nicely done, by the way).



How much would the heart markers cost?

As for coins, I think they could come in useful, but there are so many gaming coins/counters out there in metal and plastic, that I don't see the need.

The acrylic work is mainly "flat", cut-out forms, but we can pull some really nice tokens with a bit of imagination.

As for Heroquest, it's still one of my favorite games (I'm now speaking about me, not as the company Pyrkol) so I was wondering if I could pull out some upgrades to the game with the technology that I have.

I already got some great feedback and ideas from you guys: the ice tiles ; the 1/10/100 coins ; treasure gems; the suggestions for mind tokens; etc..

A question for the ice tiles: better in the traditional heroquest square base, or circular bases?

What about spells? I remember laying down my monsters when under the effect of sleep, for example, something a little bit more visual could be nice.
