Sweeeeeeeeet! :D

I was thinking off asking around to trade my Warhammer 40,000 box set collection (2nd to the 6th) for something else. Maybe the Necromunda collection too, for anything, I don't really use them as much as Hero Quest, other dungeon crawling games now. :D But.. that has to be one of the best trades ive seen in years. :D

We were sifting through the junk mail you used as packing material. All of your mail is indistinguishable from American mail, except for the language, and a few wacky differences. In America ALDI stores only sell budget groceries, not electronics. Stephie Dolls are an American Barbie Doll. McDonalds doesn't sell its ketchup in grocery stores in the US.

Also, TMU, I cannot find the package. I don't know if I mailed it, but just in case, let me send you something else right away. Is there anything else you're looking for that I can provide?

On Mondays and Thursdays ALDI offers store brand *lemony goodness* in thematic coherence.
Middle-class Chinese electronics junk, Italian food themed delicatessen, The Hairy Man's Tooly Hobby tools, you name it.
It's all the rage here and people don't get that they do not pay less than anywhere else. They also do not get that they may - if they chose to - buy their stuff somewhere else, too.
It's a cult following, really, though it doesn't look like one from the outside because those holey ochre yellowishly green jogging pants drive there in Audi A6s and VW Passats and BMW 325i's.
Mon and Thu in front of ALDI are like your Black Friday, except people feel somehow indulged to wear lavender or peach colored jogging pants they bought in 2002 where? Exactly! on those occasions. Customers actually try to block the entrance when you dare step in without a freakin' cart. For them, it's a sign you're gonna be faster. And all those attempts at Reversed Psychology along the path into the Monday morning sweat of the man you've never seen and yet known... It's a little disturbing when you get into there because of eggs and onions. People look for turquoise rubber clogs and tension belts even underneath the eggs.
I don't know if these are the same people as those who drive 30 miles for 24 litres of milk because there the liter is 57 instead of 59 cents.

I think the McDonalds Ketchup being sold in bottles here is a cross-advertising thing. I tasted it, and that diarrhea is not Heinz Ketchup.
by the way, Heinz got purchased by BurgerKing's owner, I heard. Ain't that funny?

I wanna drop a bomb into consumerism and piss "My Name" into the rubble.

This is funnier than it has any right to be. I can practically taste the venom dripping off of it.
War is not the answer...unless the question is, 'What is not the answer?'
