Gargoyle head

Hi. I've got a small problem. I have 2 gargoyles, but one is missing a head. I wanted to paint one as a statue and one in full colour (alive). But I need a head. A good copy / recast / greenstuff replica will do fine too. As long as it looks exactly like the original (or a lot like it) it will do. If you can help me post here, and name your price + postage to the Netherlands. Thanks!

If all else fails, I need a way to make a replica from the other head myself. Any tips ar ewelcome! Thanks!

Greenstuff is definitely the way to go for this. Just like doing new guns for 40k or Necrumunda minis.

yes, but that would require a mold, and I don't know how to make one. And if I have a mold, how do I get the greenstuff out once I push it in?

Probabaly cheaper to buy a new gargoyle than the stuff you need to mold a new head. But if you do buy the stuff, there's all sorts of good things you can make.

I've been using silicon putty to make molds recently, it's very easy to use. then you can fill the mold with resin.

I could do the gargoyle’s head with pewter but the cost and the shipping will be about 4 euro which is high for just this piece.

The truth is that I am continuing with the expansions and the basic set is low on my priority list. But when I am finished with the rare sets, the basic set will go next.

The bad is that I am kind of slow with the process and I can’t say when it will be done.

How can you get Silly Putty to work as a mould that wont distort the shape?? If you want a 3D piece? Do you just glue 2 Resin halves together? How the hell do you pull out the molded original without distorting the very soft Silly Putty?

the answer is Instant Mold.
Push an original item in the instant mold. Wait for it to harden. Pry it loose. Stick in some greenstuff or milliput. Let it harden. Pry off the mold again.
