Anybody else burned out by zombies boardgames?

I was gonna say, in general I was over zombie stuff in 08' the genre has been bogged down by a lot since then--but that doesn't mean that a good zombie game/film/TV show etc. can't rise above the trend.

I try to keep an open mind (no pun intended: zombies eat brains!!!) for good zombie stuff, nothing beats the classics, and I always liked the comics better than the show.

That's a fair assessment.
Myself, I always get a tad ... sour-bellied when I see any company jump any bandwagon. I just hate that and I almost never get over that first impression.
I try to be open-minded, but to me the zombie boardgame situation seems like gamers are really really being milked until no-one wants to see anything related anymore, which will be in 2017.
These games can't all be worth their money, that's the long and short of it, and collectors these days shouldn't just put in their money that way, because a collector's market should naturally sprout for any one game later when it has prevailed as a game.
I'm not trying to piss in anyone's soup here, but I think there's a level of consumer responsibility involved.
I wonder what will be the next thematic fad. Reptiloids?

As far as knocking out generic zombie films/tv/games I would tend to agree with people in that it has gotten far too old. However; I love the Walking Dead TV show and have recently got into the comics. This KS has come at a good time for zombie lovers who want a high quality IP. The game itself is really fun though, which I think will make it stand out against other zombie games on the market.

I haven't played many zombie games either so haven't had enough of them yet! |_P

Only $4,000 and we get Maggie unlocked :)
