if you want to sell people on your game then you should maybe spend alittle time on the forum besides just giving us a sales gimick

Any pictures except that skeleton? You need to convince us, because to be honest, the kickstarter wasn't a success, and so far we haven't seen much at all... Just curious :)

Hey all, thanks for your time. Yes, the only thing I released so far is that promo poster. That's all for right now. I feel actions speak louder than words. In a few weeks EVERYTHING will be out of the bag. And Im the first to admit, the kickstarter thing was NOT good by any means to do at that time. What I will be showing is NOTHING like what was seen. I've been saying this much, what once was a bad example of a single event, is now a fully developed "journey". I totally understand people being skeptical. You guys will be the first to know when the trailer and everything is released. Again, I WILL NOT release it until it is a polished game/presentation. There is a lot of people looking forward to Dungeon Crusade, and I don't want to let them down, or myself. I want to be proud of what this game will be. And to wolfie, I released that poster promo just to let people know Dungeon Crusade was coming, that was all. :) I'll be in touch soon guys, have a great day!

On your last videos I saw that it was a cooperative game like the D&D castle ravenloft, with solo rules for how to move the monsters. But the battles were too heavy for a dungeon crawler in wide rooms where you cannot cover your wizard in a corner. That makes me think “is it a dungeon crawler with exploration or a mini wargame?”. I think it’s the second. It’s a dungeon with many mini “wargame” encounters, which is too heavy for a solo even if there were more players playing together. I believe that it could be better if it was more like the dungeon quest with the HQ’s combat system, or a clone of AHQ, and not like warhammer quest or worse like the D&D castle ravenloft. You have placed too many cards and items which is good but if you overdo it, it could be a very heavy and time consuming battle system. Sorry for my English, I hope you understand what I am saying.

Of course I want to see the result, but the encounters of HQ are fast and very interesting, everything that took longer than 5 minutes per common room is not good for me.

Hi guys, Hey Patroclus, I really like what you said and the way you think! :) I may have to consult you on a few things about Dungeon Crusade, and a few others on here. I hope everyone is having a great evening. I just got in and started working on some Dungeon Crusade stuff. But I did want to answer some questions for you guys. First, back to the kickstarter thing. YEESH! What a mess, sort of, I'll get to that. I was working with Reaper miniatures on getting miniatures for Dungeon Crusade. That alone was a headache. Then I had a "friend" who, long story short was just being a pain in the @$$ about the kickstarter thing, just a bunch of things. 2 things, the Dungeon Crusade of 2014, is a night and day difference. I'm a guitarist >>> https://myspace.com/rodgerdeering and a prop builder (everything you see I built, mausoleum, zombies, tombstones, etc) >>>

and sort of a perfectionist, I try to do things the best to my ability. I learned ALOT from that kickstarter that I needed to know. So it was a double edged sword. But what I did a few months ago, I cleared my head of everything game wise. And asked my self, what do I want Dungeon Crusade to be? What is this elusive game I have searched for over the years. In a way, I took off the horse blinders, and stopped thinking what a dungeon crawler should be, and created what "I" wanted. And I really believe, what you'll see is something you'll truly enjoy in a fantasy/dungeon/RPG board game. I'm not trying to reinvent the wheel, just trying to do something a tad different and interesting. So yes, kickstarter was a MESS. But it got me in the frame of mind to what you'll see. Anyway, actions speak louder than words. I HATE to build things up, or pull peoples chain. So for now, I have that promo poster. But soon (hopefully) you'll be seeing the end product. In the mean time. PLEASE, throw suggestions at me! What kind of game would you guys like? I'll be back in a few to give an update. Anyway, hope you guys have a great evening and happy gaming to all!! :) talk to you soon....Rodger

LOL, you got it Sjeng! I love Skyrim. Happy Friday all, I hope you have a great weekend. With the teaser trailer I included in this post, I wanted to sort of start at square one with this project. Establish that kickstarter, Panda games, and Groovus Games Unlimited are involved with it. For myself, it was a disgrace, embarrassment and not well developed (at that point in time) to put it on kickstarter. You live and learn. The one GREAT thing I did learn is what people expect, how kickstarter works and gave me a clear line of sight of what Dungeon Crusade will be. I won't be on here until I have everything ready. Actions speak louder than words. Enough of my words, I want the game to speak for itself. I will tell you this, the new combat system is AWESOME! Very fun, fresh, strategic and tactical. If anything, I'm working on the hero/monster balance. The monsters are very hard at this point. So for now, I'm going to be silent for awhile until I have everything ready. Development diaries explaining the many mechanics of Dungeon Crusade, the full kickstarter trailer, the 2014 Dungeon Crusade kickstarter page ready to launch, etc. I WILL NOT let happen this time what happened before. I want to be proud of what Dungeon Crusade will be, and even above that, the people that may be buying it. I DO NOT want to let the people who believe in me and this game down. I want them to have a blast with it. So just know, I'm working like a bandit on it every day. Until then, take care and happy gaming! Talk to you soon....Rodger :)
