Very impressive project, especially since it looks like you can move the parts around (the main drawback with any "3d dungeon" version of the HeroQuest)!
I hope you do get to play many hours on it, it's obviously a labor of love & deserves that kind of service. I suppose you can clean it gently with a duster and a light cloth.

And would you be willing to share the model files used for the 3d printed elements when you're done?

The ingenuity i see on this site continues to impress. Just when I think I have a the coolest, best idea for a custom HQ setup I see something like this and realize I have no creativity apparently...This is sooo cool. I never would've even thought of this let alone fabricated it. I am both very impressed and jealous with your set up. Enjoy playing this!!

I am constantly finding new things on those sites for printing. Redoing the tables right now to bigger ones that fit my larger 30mm squares better

The electronic side of it was the most difficult. Had to have an electrician friend explain how I needed to wire it. Also I fond posting the progress on here helps me wrap my head around the steps I need to take

As you made the tiles out of foam do you noticed any degradation to them from the wires? I'd think with it being so soft they'd wear down after a time. Very nicely done.

not sure on how the wires would degrade the foam. I cut slits in the foam for the wires to fit in.
