FESTIVAL AND TOURNAMENT OPENING

PLAYERS:
Choose a character, give him a name and post him under the Festival Opening
thread (reply to this post, basically). Post a picture if you have one/if you wish to.
NOTE - Once you choose a character, that is yours from here on out - if
you go to other games or tournaments, it will be your character.
(this is important - these characters may be used in play-by-post games
later - either by me (torilen) or other Game Masters who desire to use them)

As tournaments or games are posted, if you wish to enter, type in your
character's name and current stats before the "close of registration" date
and time. Payment for the tournament or game will be taken at the time of
the event.

Weapons Available at the Start:
Dagger - 25 gold - 1 AD, throw attack
Short Sword - 150 gold - 2 AD
Long Sword - 350 gold - 3 AD, diagonal attack
Broad Sword - 250 gold - 3 AD
Staff - 100 gold - 1 AD, diagonal attack
Hammer - 250 gold - 2 AD
Mace - 350 gold - 3 AD
War Hammer - 450 gold - 4 AD, no shield
Hand Axe - 250 gold - 2 AD
Double-headed Axe - 350 gold - 3 AD, no shield
Battle Axe - 450 gold - 4 AD, no shield
Short bow - 250 gold - 2 AD, no adjacent, no shield
Cross Bow - 350 gold - 3 AD, no adjacent, no shield
Long Bow - 450 gold - 4 AD, no adjacent, no shield

maiko - did you mean double-headed axe? Battle axe wasn't available for a
starting character. I added some weapons to try and add variety, but tried to
keep it consistent with starting characters from the actual game system.
