List of Artifact Locations (BQP The Frozen Horror)

Reading through the Frozen Horror quest book on page 8, #12 lists the new artifacts but the armband of ice isn't even mentioned. Was it just an oversight that it got left out or was it something added last minute? Whatever the case, I think it should be a reward for the Barbarian completing the first 3 quests (with or without help) and rescuing Gothar for use in the rest of the quests.

It wasn't added last minute (was talked about through each successive draft thanks to the notes provided by lucapaschi), they just never ended up putting it there... meaning you have to homebrew it to use the card! Major oversight I would say. It probably should have been given to the Barbarian as a reward for completing Solo Quest 3 (just as the unused Artifact "Elven Bracers" should have been given to the Elf as a reward for completing EQP solo quest 3).

This is a late addition, but it's worth noting that the official online quest (also featured in the HeroQuest Companion App) called "Into the Northlands" (which also features some errata and playtesting suggestions from Avalon Hill for this incredibly difficult pack) intended as a solo quest prelude (for any hero) to the entire Frozen Horror campaign lets you find the Armband of Ice, officially for the first time. Call it "Quest Zero" if you like I guess.
