Next step, share it in a video...

I don't see any news on Twitter, surprised there was no follow-up. Maybe that means it wasn't an official leak, just a coincidence. I guess we'll find out Friday when Hasbro normally updates things...

The Best thing would be if Avalon Hill actually prints the corrections IN the Frozen Horror Quest Book that is released. If they want to provide "legacy expert rules" and "beginner revised rules" next to it, that's fine.

Second best scenario is that they print it as is, but include a printed flier INSIDE the box that explains the errata corrections.

Worse case scenario they just put it online, on the customer care page (perhaps with another apology letter) and hope people come online to see the fixes.

Casual buyers who learn about this stuff the old fashioned way are less likely to see it and more likely to regret their purchase in the last scenario. It's up to them what they want to do, but for all we know the boxes are already sealed and they can't just hire some temps to stuff fliers in boxes before they get shipped off. Maybe those sticky tape circles are already applied? They can still seal the errata in a plastic bag and attach it to the box (shrink wrap the whole thing with it inside or rubber cement it to the outside). Much easier than processing refunds and calming people down on social media I would think....

Just based on my look through the remade game system, I'm highly doubting any of the original problems with this expansion pack will be fixed. They put no rework into the rules or spell. There were new cards, that was interesting, but they never even tried to fix the quest maps, like the unmarked chest in Lair of the Orc Warlord, no clarification was made on Courage or Borin's Armor. Even the furniture was not to appropriate size for the squares they occupy on the quest board. In fact, it was made all the more confusing with the addition of new heroes. Why should I expect anything better from this?
If course, I'm still going to buy it for the miniatures alone, but I have no faith that they will fix the bugs incorporated in the Barbarian and Elf Quest packs.

For the most part I agree, but they did clarify Courage was "Line of sight" and Borin's Armor was clarified to allow a helmet and shield to be used with it. So while they didn't fix some things they ought to have, they did SOME clarification. So by that logic they will fix some of the issues in BQP/EQP but leave others untouched.

I agree that I don't have a great amount of faith, but I'm still going to be loud about it, in the hopes that we'll get something, rather than nothing. They really OUGHT to fix it. If not, what we'll be doing is educating many new fans on how they COULD enjoy the quest pack before returning it or sending its quest book to the shredder...

I hope they do include adjustments to make this expansion more balanced and properly playable, and if they're truly worried about scaring off legacy customers, including some notes about what they changed and how it was in the original edition could do well. Other options would be including a second rule/quest book for the "Legacy" version, or releasing a downloadable Legacy version.

Hopefully, they realize how... Unrefined this product was originally, and give it the extra love it deserves. I'd hate to see poor reviews tank the product line this early.

No. I just know that if it's some gimmick limited edition, crowdfund, pay attention or you'll miss your window to actually get the thing type of situation I'm tapping out of the whole enterprise.

Already annoying that the Scandinavian website thing was obviously a planned leak by Hasbro to get people hot and bothered. Marketing people are the worst. Including "random = lol" Twitter Zargon... bleh.

I plan to do another twitch video this week going over the errata and fixes, based on the draft info Luca has been able to share. It looks like a lot of the issues were never noticed, which is too bad, but if they can fix a few of them, even if it's three decades too late... that's a start!

The lists should be circulated far and wide after the release. I agree, if it's not a retail release, I won't be getting it.

Looks impressive. I like the new all action henchmen.

I don't think the original was terribly broken, apart from the Yeti in the solo quests, and the fact that while the solo quests were challenging for an experienced Barbarian, they were suicide for a novice, which was oddly meant to be the whole point of them.

I would not be at all surprised if these aspects remained exactly the same.
