Have you had a go at this yet. Talk about a Dwarf in Confusion, I'm confused!

Does Zargon only read the introduction to the dwarf player, who then has to tell it to the others in a "lightly invoked" furious, drunken and loud manner? Wierd :?

I've not had the time as we're back to mandatory 10s - 6 days at work. Light winters are rough. I've only made the maps as that is quick.

The reason is that many readers od Dragao Brasil complained that Hero Quest is not an RPG but a board game and should not be featured on the magazine.
So for this adventure (and also in the Sleep Wizard quest) they tried to make it more rpg-style, in fact Zargon should call the Dwarf player apart from the others and explain him what happened about Kerg. Then the player should act as a furious and screaming one to entertain a bit the rest of the team! This is the intro for this quest... but when I translated it I decided to go back to a classic style and wrote two lines to adapt the intro to a classic HQ style but without changing the story:

(so this is based on my previous translation from Portoguese to Italian - and now to English... as for the other quest pack, a revision is necessary)

"It's late night and the dwarf is resting in his mansion; the candle light seems to make it shine the jag of beer he's sipping, while complacent he's remebering previous adventures.
But the silence of the night is suddenly interrupted; a messenger is knocking at his door and hands him a letter featuring the red cachet of Mentor. The letter informs him about what happened to Kerg, a a mighty dwarf warrior whom in the past was able to avoid the invasion of his village that was acted by the vicious Commander (General) Chups, an old enemy of the Empire.
Anyway, now Chups ha smanaged to capture the veteran Kerg and secured him in a jail inside his castle while is preparing to attack again the village and pillage its resources (treasures).
Kerg was the master of the dwarf and teached him the art of combat: he will never allow that his master is held as a prisoner, neither that his village will be invaded!
Furiously he heads down to the old tavern to meet his quest companions and screaming, a bit because of the rage, but also a bit because being drunk, he informs the other about what happened and shouting revenge, he swear that he will tear apart the Commander Chups.
Too much time has already passed, with no hesitating the four heroes take their way to Chups' Castle to rescue the old master Kerg."

Here are some personal notes about this adventure because there are some mistakes during the quests, I will list hem here:

1) this is based on the Game-System version of the game; items/artifacts you may encounter during the quest:Elisir of Life, Wand of Recall, Dagger;

2) on the first quest there are 2 keys: a bone key (wich is the good one) and a metal key (wrong one). The title may be a spoiler about the fact that the heroes need to find the bone key, so I suggest to change the title from "The Bone Key" to a more generic "The Key" (or anyrthing else that will not reveal that the correct key is made of bone);

3) questpack title is instead too much generic for my tastes, I suggest to modify in "The Rescue of Kerg" (and not only "The Rescue")

4) quest 2 is missing the wandering monster note: Fimir is my proposal (as in the first quest)

5) on quest 3 you will find a fake Elisir of Life, wich is instead a venom. The elisir is usually used to resurrect a dead hero, it make no sense to apply the efect of the venom to an already dead hero; so I suggest to change it in a Healing Potion, so that a wounded hero will drink it and suffer a real damage;

The notes seem a lot longer than what you posted. I would like to see the original translation if you have it. Just so I can compare what was changed.

I don't think a dead Hero suffering 2 BP of damage is very useful. I would indeed change it to a Potion of Healing.
