Does anyone think that the creature should only be harmed by the Chaotic Sword and the Axe of Destruction. The quest intro's suggest that is the case, but the quest notes are silent on the matter?

Fully agree. It says so in the all the introductions but not in the quest notes of the final quest.
And yes, it would increase the danger of that creature somewhat :-)

it says in the intro notes of quest 1 and 2 that the magic weapons will HELP to destroy the creature. Infact attacking with 10 dice at least one time will surely help to kill it.
So I guess also normal weapons can inflict damage to the creature.

We killed the creature easily with normal weapons plus the Chaotic Sword. The Axe of Destruction was never used. With a tempest spell the Creature never even got to take a turn and cast a spell. If I played again I would definitely restrict attacks on the Creature to the two special weapons plus spells. Maybe not even spells? This would have enabled the Creature to summon some Orcs which the normal weaponed Heroes/Henchman could battle. It would have been an interesting battle, and we were both left disappointed at the end, and wished we had restricted the attacks.

Yes that enemy is too weak. After all my simulation showed you can down him with a beginner group and the potions of healing from quest two.

Either he needs some pre boss who can eat some spells or the restriction that only the special axe can axe him.

What's your proposal for the quest note about the monster?

B - This is the place where the creature slept. It sleeps no longer because the Heroes arrived too late - and the beast was awakened by Zargon! Use the Chaos Sorcerer figure to represent the Creature. The Creature knows the following spells: Rock Skin, Command, Rust, Firestorm, and Summon Orcs.

CREATURE: MOVEMENT 7; ATTACK 6; DEFEND 7; BODY 10; MIND 4

The Creature can only be harmed by the Chaotic Sword, the Axe of Destruction and spells.

Ok i will add that it can only be harmed by the two weapons, and change the creature's icon. (will also try to make a cover)
Any more changes you think that should be made?

Did you ever make the cards? I finished the introduction, the art and the credits, did the changes that had to be done in the quest too.
So only the cards are left and its 100% ready. itd be amazing if you could send em to me. Or if anyone else can do the Artifacts would be dope too :D.

They are almost done: the Chaotic Sword needs a retouch on background because once inked there was too much details for a single card.
