Name: drathe
Region: Niagara

Hey, I'm drathe.

I live in the Niagara Region. I like to play HeroQuest as much as possible. I usually play as Zargon since most of the people I've played with were new to the game, which is probably best since I have most of the Quests from the Game System, Kellar's Keep and Return of the Witch Lord in memory from playing them so many times.

If there's anyone in my area looking to play some HeroQuest, post here and we'll try to get some games going!

    My HeroQuest Collection:
  • 3 x North American Game System (plus extras)
  • 2 x North American Kellar's Keep (plus extras)

I'll be moving to your area at the end of the summer. Perhaps we can connect.

Sounds good. I'm actually within driving distance at the moment so feel free to drop me a note if you are looking for a game.

Also, any chance that you are interested in selling one of your Return of the Witch Lord copies? Or the extra's from your Elf pack?

I think I need to adjust those numbers, I'll need to double check, but I believe I've already let some of my extras go. The rest of my collection I'll probably never give up (mainly because I enjoy my collection of miniatures and cards), sorry.

I do have an extra set of Witch Lord tiles and my extra Elf pack pieces are just a few random items: 3 long pit tiles (double block squares on reverse), 3 skull tiles (skull, block square and equipment pack on reverse), 1 trap door tile (same on reverse) and 1 Dispell - Chaos Spell Card. If we get a game going, you're welcome to these bits.

Awesome....I'm working on getting a complete set of expansions together for myself and I'm finding some success in putting together bits and pieces that people are willing to let go.

Feel free to e-mail me regarding a game or anything else: brownjj2@hotmail.com

We'll have to schedule a game soon. What is your experience level with HeroQuest? As in, how knowledgeable are you about the game and its expansions? I have some people playing at various points in the game right now who would like another companion to take over a couple Heroes. One, two thirds through the Game System and the other toward the end of Kellar's Keep. If I can get a game going and you're available, you could play one of those. I do have a third guy who is interested in starting from scratch, but it's very difficult to get the guy to play due to schedules. He works midnight shifts.

I used to play but haven't for years although I am looking at starting a campaign for my nephews. I would be willing to jump in anywhere though. Just let me know when you are looking to play (I can be flexible but Wednesday and Friday nights aren't the best for me unless we play later).

I'm some hours away, so it isn't possible unless there's some special 'event' planned, which brings me to two questions:

1) can we not play it online with webcams???
2) how about a weekend event: HQ CONVENTION!!!? To save on travel costs, we could hold it in someone's basement (like, maybe, drathe's, to take a name entirely at random) and set up our tents in his backyard...who needs showers when we're labelled as nerds anyway?
