If you know neither yourself nor your enemy, you will always endanger yourself.

you all are too funny.

I've noticed its been a little slow lately, too. Guess everyone is as busy as I have been.
I actually had to stop a game I was running on another forum for a bit - just too much
going on to make good posts.

With the beggining of the Holiday season I expect things to get quite for awhile.

After all family obligations have been met and there is more free time I wager things liven up around here.

I don't post often, but I do read the new posts every couple days.

My group is still going strong, we play every Monday. They're almost to the Frozen Horror.
Then onto a custom campaign I've written.

I hope you post about your custom Quests. It would go great in the Saturday Night Dungeon.

Unfortunately, since I have some D&D dungeon master experience and have run many a modular gameboard, I sort of make up the room layouts as I go, and adjust to how well/poorly the heroes are doing in the quest.

As for plot, the heroes are venturing into the far west to a desert kingdom, in hopes of finding pieces of relics to open the tomb of an ancient demon. The monsters I'm using are minis from the d&d line, and consist of more demonic types like harpies, satyrs, fire elementals, xorns (look them up), rust monsters (those too), beholders, etc..

I also developed rules for unique weaponry and armor that have % chances to cast spells (sleep, fire of wrath, etc). And have redone the wizards spells extensively using these (http://milsims.cdn.kept.com.au/sites/mi ... icdice.jpg) dice.

I have actually put many, many hours into modifying my HeroQuest campaign into something that plays almost like a completely different game. I know I need to post everything eventually... because I really am very proud of the work I've done. I'll get there eventually I promise. :D

In the meantime here is at least a quick shot of ONE of my boxes of minis I use for my campaigns. I have a couple more just like it. You'll see some familiar models mixed in there. :)
