Dear forum members,

what do you think about an "international HQ-dictionary" ?

Sense and purpose?

The different rule books to compare and/or to bring on a comparable form hero and creature designations. A beginning would have been designated e.g. like the monsters in the different countries is.

I introduce in such a way:
English | German | EspaƱa | italiano |(...)

On http://www.yeoldeinn.com there are already the most diverse rules.

I would find this a beautiful project, so that the international players of Heroquest could come themselves more near. This finds isolated (so far I this to recognize could) already instead of. Thus would be nevertheless a small dictionary (e.g. " Words Quest") an assistance for all those, which are a small in the search for contacts in the world and " Handout" for as a starter assistance the other forums would need. As far as this exists ready, I would be grateful for a reference. Thanks for your answers.

Please excuse my "bad" english - thanks a lot.

I posted this on http://www.heroquest.es/?action=forum and http://www.hq-cooperation.de/forum/viewforum.php?f=1 too.

Greeting GzL

From what I gather, your intent is to create a document containing the names and statistics of all the monsters and characters from HeroQuest and list them in each of the languages in the initial post for translation/comparison purposes. Is this correct? If so, a projectsimilar this has already been started for all of the cards available in HeroQuest.

Our intent with the Card Text project is:
Using excel, create a worksheet for the game system, and each Quest Pack released.
Each worksheet will have one column for each language/territory release.
The cells in each column will contain the card titles and card text for each card released.

Card Text project purpose:
To have all the cards available in all released languages. This will hopefully make it easier for people to translate cards into a language in which a card set was not previously available. From these new translations, we can create cards for these languages and make them available on the Website for everyone to enjoy.

If the Card Text project shows promise, we hope to expand and repeat the process for the Quest Books and other material. Possibly even fan-created content.

If you need a hand with the Danish cards I would like to volunteer :)
