Ogre footprint

I am converting some game pieces from another system as stand-ins for some of my unattainable sets. My question is what is the base size of the ogres. Are they single squares or larger? I know the wolves are 2 squares. Any help is appreciated.

The bases themselves are a wee bit larger than the standard HQ base, but they're supposed to stand on a single square.

They're irritating in that they take up more than 1 square and less than 2!
