Hurricane Quest! AKA Bringing the game with me!

I have no car, but live near enough to a place I can go if the storm truly hits. And this time, I'm bringing HQ along. I've put too much money and time into it. So, I'm taking the new edition's main box, but emptying it of all superfluous items, and cramming it with the most important pieces from all of the sets, along with electronic copies of the rules and quest books. So, if I DO lose something, I'm still good to go! And,if I lose my luggage, but my place still stands, the old edition and enough stuff to play with will still be at home.

Anyone else doing this, or something similar?

EDIT:
Okay, so it took two box sizes worth, but it's all there! :D

:D GOD BLESS THIS HOUSE! :D I came out OK, but over the course of the coming year I'm selling/giving away two-thirds of my stuff. My Hero Quest stuff is in the keeping third, of course!

I know this is blasphemy, but I'm considering throwing away the inner plastic of the boxes, and cutting off the front and back of each box to keep those parts, and simply having everything in labeled, plastic zip bags. Things WILL take up less space this way . . .

It's good to hear you weathered the storm alright, and it's a bonus to hear that you're keeping your HeroQuest game. May it never be swamped.

Thank you. Some things are easier to replace than others.

I have FINALLY got all of my cards and miniatures back in the right places! Some of the tiles are still mixed, but not too badly. I didn't have a lot of time to pack everything in an organized fashion, but I am now better prepared for any future hurricane issues.

Wow, that is some serious dedication! I love how organized you are with packing just the essentials kind of like how I approach fashion clothing. Instead of hoarding every trend, I pick the key pieces that really matter and mix them for maximum impact. Your approach to HQ reminds me of that mindset quality over quantity!

OY! Methinks I smell me some Spam. The only fashion choice that matters here comes in the mail varieties, accessorized with a metal cap. Unless you're an Elf, of course. :dwarf:

I don't know what you're talking about. Naniyue's conversation very clearly leads into fashion and fashion trends...

I've been waiting for this user to come back and edit the message so we can rectify the situation.
