Hi everyone! I´m buying my first HQ (AT LAST!)

After so many years... I finally have the chance of getting a copy of the classic HQ, the father of all dungeon crawlers! Yes, It´s not in mint condition whatsoever. Many cards are missing. A dice too. Dwarf´s card also missing. And a fire spell, they say. Is there, by any chance, here in the forum any good scan of all those items, so I can make of it a decent copy? Any advice will be welcomed.

Welcome! HeroQuest is a great game, you gotta start somewhere!
Thankfully many proxies for the vintage dice (of varying quality) can be found on places like etsy or ebay if you can't find a regular set. The remake dice aren't bad (if you don't mind them being big and plastic and with pointy corners). In the meantime it's easy (but less cool) to simulate them on standard d6's... you could say 1-3 are skulls and 4-5 are white shields and 6 is a black shield (or 4-6 are the skulls, 2-3 are white shields, and 1 is black shield, etc).

I was lucky enough to be around when sets were on sale for a few dollars each. I remember picking up a few new sealed boxes of Kellars Keep and Return of the Witch Lord for $5AU each back in the day.
For many years after you could pick up second hand copies of the main game and expansions regularly at garage sales/ trash and treasure (car boot sales) etc. Not so much any more though.
