New to the forum, sorta the Inn, but not the game!

Hello! I just signed up for these forums, but wasn't sure where to put a combination introductory and general thoughts topic.

I've owned the first North American release since back in the day. I foolishly did not buy the add-ons, even when I found one cheap back then. I only had my sister and a cousin to play with, so eventually my copy got shelved, but lovingly kept.

To my surprise, while searching for miniatures and such on Amazon, Hero Quest popped up! And not the old edition, but a NEW one! I was excited, especially after learning there was an Android application that FINALLY made the game a solo affair! But, as I searched for more HQ content, I found the Inn! So that made TWO programs allowing solo play, not to mention all the other wonderful goodies!

At first, I didn't buy the main game, just the expansions, but then decided to get everything I reasonably could.

I find that the remake pieces look more like bosses than the old ones, so I tend to mix the two depending on the scenario.

I plan to play the Frozen Horror soon, especially while it's really cold out, to heighten the roleplaying experience.

The Frozen Horror will terrify you... it's probably the most difficult campaign you could choose.

Welcome and well met, Naniyue! You' need to use a file-sharing site like Imgur to link your picture. Copy the image link from the sight and paste it into your post or you could also use the Img tab at the top of your post field.

Another option is to contribute 14 posts here at the forum. At that point you get Champion status and may use attachments in your posts. (Don't forget to check the {Rules} [ about attachments.) The Upload attachment tab at the bottom of your post field will get you there.

The Frozen Horror was never play tested in the original or the remake, I would suggest going into it with a 5 hero party, otherwise you're going to need to make alterations. Don't rely on the app to make things easier, this is a quest pack that requires adjustments. You've been warned.
